1/2 my corn didn't do good on one side of a block of three rows, on the right side. The didn't get big, and very few of them are making ears, and they are small. This is the beginning of the third month they have been growing. The won't make ears, right? Shouldn't I just pull them up, or will they eventually make ears later? Also, the plants that are doing good have three ears growing on one plant. Should I pull off the bottom ear if it is just now tasseling? It won't make an ear in three weeks will it? thank you

- I'm in Perth, Western Australia where we have a Mediterranean climate so it's not too dry and not too wet (though it has been quite wet recently). My corn started with hair, but then it disappeared. Do you know why? I'm guessing they weren't pollinated properly.
