- Amaizeing
- also the angle is important (perhaps you forgot to mention it), 15° degrees is good to force the roots to grow along the glass.
- Love the music fam 👌🏼
- This is a great video. can we use it for an online course featured on Coursera?
- it didn't grow very fast, they just sped the footage up
- I like placing my bets on which one will surface first! *Stares intently at the screen*😣grow damn you!grow!
- This has to be fake... When did they water them?!?!
- how did you do that
- Hello Mindlapse,
I have tried twice now to duplicate your seed growth and the first time the roots grew behind the dirt so the camera didn't see them.  The second time, I reduced the amount of dirt and we can see the root growth a lot better, but not near as good as yours.  I will post my results for you to see when the shoots make it out of the dirt.  Would you give me permission to use your video in an educational production for P.B.S.?
Thanks!

Buck
- Hello Mindlapse,
Might I use this video to show corn seed starting to grow for a show I have made for P.B.S.?  I am teaching children how a farmer plants corn in episode one (already made-just go to Bucks Big World to see it on youtube), and in episode two I teach the stages of corn growth to children (making now) and in episode 3 I teach the corn harvest and in episode 4 I teach children about taking corn to market and what it is made into.  This way children will see the full agricultural cycle of corn.

Thanks!

Buck
- how did it grow so fast and is your seed 2 inches deep.
- Jed's but only to swear by all that's real on this earth. Come now ye merry gentmen and prepare an ole hogshead to store wrought corns.

- I bought a camera and I plan to play around with time lapse. How did you set up your soil and seed so the root would grow along the glass? Whenever I have done this it grows back into the soil and I can't see the roots. Also I have issues with my light reflecting off the glass and making a big bright spot. Can you give me some pointers? Thanks
- if only corn grew that fast id say im having sweet corn for dinner tomorrow and plant a seed the other night lol
- great movies!
- I have to take massive shit now.
- AMAZING VIDEO AND NICE TO READ THAT YOU ALLOW OTHERS TO USE IT FOR THEIR STUDENTS. They will surely love it.
- Holy shit prince your right. I never thought of that
- Mycorrhizae. Symbiotic mycelium that takes carbohydrates from the plant and breaks them down into nutrients for the soil and helps the plant get more water in addition. Fungi are incredible. (:
