- I've tried the gluten free, grain free. I actually feel better eating delicious gluten containing wheat. Organic is best, but hey I eat non and I'm fine. maybe it's the lack of stress from not limiting myself. Maybe wheat is OK.
- Many people who advocate this diet use their main claim for its benefits of losing weight (which it's obvious to see why it would enable weight loss) and then draw all these other made up, non-supported claims as its other benefits because it's easy to do that with any fab diet, especially when some charismatic leader and celebrities are suggesting it. The bottom line is that most people do not understand the methodologies of scientific studies and the importance of replicating these studies with better and better methodologies over time. Just having a bunch of anecdotes doesn't hold up at all to replicated scientific trials.
- I stopped all wheat. There is even wheat in Campbells soup! I go to college and my ankles would hurt so bad i would hobble around campus. After reading his book I stopped all wheat...and in 9 days my ankle pain was gone! I waited 2 weeks and ate a wheat bread sandwich...boom, my ankles hurt for 4 days! I have now switched to Einkorn wheat and have no problem whatsoever!
- Dr. Davis is right on the mark. I would trust him far more than those "experts." Your short report was lacking much of the evidence Dr. Davis talks about in his book. If I was following the money, I'd say big wheat and big pharma are behind it. The report just tries to discredit Dr. Davis. I quit eating wheat, lost 35 pounds, feel much better.

- I've cut ALL grains from my diet for the last 8 weeks and have lost weight every single week. 14 pounds so far. When you cut out wheat; what were you really cutting out? When you cut out wheat you aren't cutting out wheat. You are cutting out cookies, cakes, pie, white bread, pasta with alfredo sauce ETC ETC. There is tons of junk being eliminated from your diet when you go wheat free. Could it be that any benefits you got are due to the fact that you cut back on junk food?

- I reversed my Gaves and Addisons by cutting grains and dairy. The Racheals at the end said what I think is most important when asked who do you trust? Your body. There is evidence grains are bad for everyone, it causes inflammation in the gut, inflammation is bad news if you have an auto-immune disease. - Dr. Davis' position makes for an especially easy test case. He says it's not wheat that's bad but that it's modern, genetically modified wheat. All he has to do to convince skeptics is perform a study with one group eating a non-GMO wheat-based diet, another with GMO wheat and a third control group eating a diet without any wheat at all. Compare results.

- Good stuff and along with it: raw food people say that all grains made natively for birds.
And it is not about new modified grains (which are surely twisted by default) but about the grains itself.
Humans supposed to eat stuff like vegetables, fruits and berries.
It is similar with the milk, that natively made for babies under 1-2 years of age.
