- It's amazing that Marc Shaiman was able to set the beautiful "Theme from The American President" to lyrics. The song went from "presidential" to almost "ethereal" as this version feels almost like a classic American folk song, or like a Shaker hymn like the ones I used to sing in my high school choir. =)
