Sugar Cane Farm! Compact, Lossless, Easy to Build! (Minecraft 1.15+)

- I needed i modified a little of the farm just so it can work on bedrock and this baby is running like crazy. Im making it bigger bit by bit there's 6 modules by now i pretend to reach 12 at the end so i can have a pretty fast sugarcane supply.
- Would this work with bamboo?

- tried building this in bedrock 1.17.40 and the water seems to not want to flow over the slabs, its flowing down breaking the suger cane
- To those asking, yes this works with bamboo too

- Made this in 1.15 and still works like a charm when upgraded to 1.17 i have too much sugar cane that my storage module goes down to bedrock now lol
- does this work on 1.12 mp servers?
- Can you explain what's going on with the observers?

- I just build this on 1.17.2 ... the pistons quite often get triggered but I'm watching the water streams and looking in the chest ... I would expect at least one sugarcane for each time the pistons fire and I'm not getting that.
edit ... I think it is firing the pistons when the sugarcane ages but it doesn't grow with each advance in age. Makes sense.
edit again ... I do, indeed, get pistons firing occasionally without breaking but now I've got 3 wide, 2 high, 2 long going and it's pumping out sugarcane. I am going to make the thing 2 longer for a total of 24 units total. Never gonna run out of sugarcane again.
- Won't work on Xbox because sugarcane won't hold water

- i tried building this farm when i put on the water following the instructions the sugar cane i planted just washed away. how can i fix that?
