- Would like to hear the rational for planting soybeans with the unsold surplus from last season. Are you counting on being able to profit from the $2 bushel subsidy? MFP payments are part of (How Farms Work) I suppose. Are you reducing the acreage devoted to soybeans this year due to the trade issues? With the strong cattle prices have you considered planting more hay and corn for your cattle and maybe growing the herd to offset the soybean market problems? Just some things it would be nice to hear you discuss so that we would know how you decide what to do to keep you in the black financially. Thanks for opening your world to us.
