- The peas will put a lot of sugar in that mixture. The oats will be about 50 to 55% the peas about 75% or more. They are just blossoming now right?
- Would be nice to have a place big enough to put the wrapped bale at the barn.
- The oats look great! I'd be happy if I had a field of oats like that to combine and bale the straw but that is just the old time farmer in me.
- That is a downside about big bales...the easiest spot to store them is on the side of a field. The other is you lose about 10% (or more) to waste. It's minimal and the price you pay for convienence, but imagine how frustrating it would be if 1 out of every 10 small bales had to be thrown away after baling.
- Like the idea of moving to other line wrap area, U have such demand 4 alfalfa, make as much alfalfa as possible. All crops lookin' good. 👍
