- Hello, my oven/stove is not working and I have a bag of sorghum. I was wondering if I can cook the sorghum in the microwave? I'm also cooking for my elderly mother and she does not like the sorghum popped. So, I was hoping I could boil it in the microwave before it gets too old. Thanks.
- Well it didn't work for me. I used BRM Sorghum 3 parts water to 1 part sorghum, brought it to a boil, covered and simmered for 60 minutes, then let rest for 20 minutes .............. and ended up with a pot of 3 parts water and uncooked surghum. What's the deal here? I'm no chef but I've been cooking for 45 years .......... did I miss the magic trick?
