- Is white rice and brown have wheat in it?
- why is dr davis still overweight???????
- Use Spelt flour instead of common wheat flour to bake your bread. Your gut won't have problem with Spelt. Neither Spelt will give you the "wheat" addiction.
- Naa, you take deeper drags with filter, maybe some analogy there :-)
- Several years ago, I quite ALL grains especially wheat (I was super addict!) and started a high fat diet, modified ketogenic, with my blood work and labs near perfect for the first time in my life and improving!  Here is my favorite organic recipe for hemp seed coconut oil fudge: 2 cups of hemp seed, cup almond flour, cup coconut oil, pecans bits, lemon juice, cinnamon, and yeah a bunch of powdered vitamin C, few grams.  I top with honey, pecans, lemon zest then FREEZE~~~> way crunchy and yummy and perfect backpack food and will last for days on the trail.
- p.s colin Nordstrom....... well said!!!!!
- I am completely on the other team, I think that the food lifestyle you choose that WORKS and is positive for your health is the Right diet. I find cutting grains etc terrible, I am eating a hclf diet and I have never been leaner In my life, my stomach issues have almost vanished, I have energy, I am never hungry and I am and have been a healthy weight for years, my body has completely transformed since changing, as I always subscribed to the classic, gluten free, or low carb high fat formula, and It did nothing but make me tired, hungry, and miserable, I believe in finding the the right eating style. So great for the people it works for, but, that's not everyone.
- I met Dr. Davis a couple of years back. I have lost 50lbs and have kept it off. It should be noted that in April 2015 the scientists at the Rath Foundation in California have now proven that cardiovascular disease is actually caused by a form of Scurvy. We are all familiar with Acute form of scurvy which killed the sailors of old with in 3- 5 months, but most people are totally unaware of the modern day Chronic form of scurvy that can kills but over 3 to 5 decades.....aka Heart Disease. Check out Dr Rath's youtube videos.
- I wish u had asked Dr Davis about sprouted breads and wheat bread substitutes. And given Dr Davis diabetic condition as a result of following Dr Dean's protocol, it would have been interesting to hear Dr Davis's take on Dr Dean's (so called) successful track record with his patients on his 'low fat' vegan diet. Outside of that - great interview.

I'm 'sold' on wheat-free diet. Not only has it improved my digestive health, it has made me a stronger, leaner & more explosive athlete and I now have a 6 pack again. :)
- looking forward to watching diet vs diet. I'd like to see how your diet process compares to the rest of them
- Grains are evil says this chubby Doctor.......💤
- This is total propaganda and disinformation. Humans have no history with whole grains, I agree; but this attack on gluten and refined grains is pure BS. Does celiac exist? Of course. You should investigate if you're sensitive to any food. But to attack grains alone is another example of observation bias. Correlation does not prove causation. The body is a very complicated machine. There are so many factors that play into something like gluten sensitivity (not celiac). Why does gluten sensitivity not exist in Europe? Factors like grain enrichment and different strains of baker's yeast could be a factor. When the switch from sourdough to bakers yeast occurred in France in the 1600s, health did decline. Foods really should be judged on how they hormonally affect the body. Abel has some interesting guests, but many of them are just "grain rippers" who neglect the great health history that links many refined grains to cultures of the past.
- This book has changed my life. Cured my joint pain, body rashes, GI issues, hair loss and I lost and maintain my high school weight. Thank you Dr. Davis for your work and for giving me my life back.
- I'm halfway through reading Wheat Belly right now, so it was interesting to hear Dr. Davis's voice speaking the words I've been reading. I applaud this grass roots movement to help people understand what's making them so fat and sick. I'm 3 months into keto, so already gluten free, but it's great info to have to be able to pass on to others.
- What about 'wheat germ' the missing nutritional powerhouse missing from flours and wheat products?
