Count down to harvest plus a crazy crop of millet!!

- I can't wait for harvest! Then I can ask, along with everybody else, why you don't just straight cut everything because that's how we do it blah blah blah. Then the annual Nick implosion response. THAT is how I know harvest is starting!
- That was some nice looking millet bales... how big were the stems and how did it dry down?? I just planted some millet for the first time... we always used to use haygrazer (sorghum-sudan) but you have to plant it thicker than hair on a dog's back if you want fine stems, and cut it at about 4 feet high so it's really leafy. If you wait it'll get 6-8 feet high, but by then there's WAY less leaves, and it's got WAY bigger stems bigger around than your finger in some cases, and takes FOREVER to dry. SO better to sacrifice some tonnage for MUCH higher quality.

Moim zdaniem take, Imprezy okolicznościowe Lublin , ok, ma dobre opinie. - Always rake the rounds last, cleans up the rows nicely on the ends and don’t make a mess when turning around
- Good to see U gettin the crop baled up in good order 👍 hope all goes well for u with the direct cutting 🤔👍
- Will you all get a newer combine soon? And what years are the combines you have?
- Lol..And thus concludes another episode of X files ,prairie version.Stay tuned for next weeks episde...Saskatchewan seals, real or myth?
- Thats an awesome millet crop...no one has a millet crop like that around here 👍👌👍👍👍👌
- crop rectangles !!
- bales look good 👍👌
- Harvest is coming fast! First Quarter of invigor I put in is around 10 days from the swather. The first quarter of spring wheat I seeded turning quick!
- Nice one.👍🏼
- Damn rights I enjoyed the video
- G'day Nick
- That's some nice windrows! Are you glad you got a nice rake now? Looking forward to combining also . Never ran a combine ! We all was chopped everything.
- You don’t have to do a fall burnoff out east Nick? In SW sask we usually have to do a fall burn , usually keeps fields clean for next year in our area
- Awesome video do you bale the pea straw or just till it into the soil ??
- 😁👍
- Looks like you could merge 3 rows ( or 4 ?) into one windrow. Would the windrow then be too much for the baler ? Or the tractor would drag it all over ?
- We usually only spray DiQuat at 6pm and later. Makes a world of difference on how it works. Going to start on lentils here in a few days.
- maybe your luck has change
