Chopping the Last Load of Corn Silage 2021{

I never wanted to be done with silage so bad before. Usually, it's my favorite farm activity, but rain pushed everything back for a squished schedule. No parts failures this year..

- you guys got to spray and cultivate your corn a bit more to keep the weeds out
- 👍
- Favorite farming video you tuber
- Excellent
- I sure wish I could talk you into putting that corn up a a raised bed. A set of 4 or 6 row hippers would be all you need. Once they were throwed up. You could drag them down to 3" with that soil finisher you have. No one grows corn or cotton in my area with out that. I've seen people try. Might have success one year. Then a wet year comes and they go back the next. It appsolutly makes a difference. In a wet year. Like the ones you constantly complain about!! 😜😃
- Dont want to tile your fields out so just pump a few inches of water in them for a 2 months that will get ride of the johnson grass lol. Otherwise about 10 days or so the toxic effect of the johnson grass goes away after you cut it
- Hello Jacob I'm a farmer and deer hunter from Indiana do you allow people to hunt on your property I would be willing to come out and hunt always looking for more land to hunt we help feed some food banks here in Indiana with the deer meat thanks for your time
- Jacob, thanks for showing 40+ year old equipment can still get the job done.
No reason to get in debt on new equipment when turning a wrench can keep it going and maximize what little profit there is at the end of the day.
- Let's go H2O! Good to see you getting it done.
- 👍👌🇨🇦❤, our average is around 20 inches.
