- Greek Halva: 1c oil, 2c semolina(sooji), 3c sugar, 4c water. flavours: cinnamon(must, then according to preference add: sliced almonds, raisins, cloves and maybe cardamon. Same! method. So much of Indian cooking is so similar! New fashion adds melted dark chocolate over finished product. @stefanos2691: My aunts from Messinia used to make it with flour, with flavour and texture a nice change! Thank-you!
